I will react according to how the following stocks move in this week: CATS, TWX, ENA, BE, NWS, NYT.
1. Cats. I know as a stock investor/trader, I should involve as little emotion as possible. But, I love cats, and when a friend of mine referred me about this stock, I was so happy to know that besides “cat”, there is also “cats”.
I have been observing cats since last week, seems there is a very strong resistance around 7.50 areas. I would buy it if the stock price breaks 7.60 this week with strong momentum. Otherwise, it might be a dangerous call.
Cats’ fundamental is not too bad relative to it price, for those people who interests in value investing, could check it at Yahoo! Finance for details.
2. TWX is at 52 weeks low now, as one of the largest media company. Time Warner is not too bad in its fundamental. It has a support around 17.80 areas, if the stock price could stop there and reverse, I will probably buy some shares.
3. ENA is not so strong on the fundamental side, but its chart looks somewhat attractive to me. I would make my decision based on which trend line it is going to break in this week.
4. BE has support around 4.40 and 4$, and resistance at 5. I would make my decision based on how it will break those levels, and what the volume looks like. If the price could hold at 4 and above, and break 5 in this week, it might be a good buy. Price target 1$ or more. Will see.
5. NWS and 6. NYT are two news media companies I have been watching for a long time. NYT is almost at all time low now (10 years), I am not sure if the price will go down further, but if it could stay above 18 $, I would probably buy some and hold for a long period of time, unless of course, if it breaks down 18 $ support. So, how will it move tomorrow would be very important for me to make the decision. There are 3-4 supports below NWS’ current price level, which I think it might be a safe stock to buy compare to NYT, and NWS is an extremely diversified company (more information), I will close observe it and make my call accordingly, no specific plan here.
